If your office chair or ergonomic chair makes unusual noises during use, please follow the steps below to perform a self-check:
1. Check the Connection Between the Gas Lift and the Five-Star Base
Make sure the gas lift is firmly inserted into the center hole of the five-star base.
Loose or misaligned connections may cause noise.
With the chair placed upright, gently shake the gas lift to test for looseness.
2. Check the Connection Between the Gas Lift and the Seat Mechanism
Inspect the area where the gas lift connects to the seat mechanism for cracks or damage.
A broken or loose connection may cause noise when the chair tilts or moves.
3. Check for Gas Leakage
If the chair slowly sinks when you sit down, the gas lift may be leaking.
A leaking gas lift may also produce noise when adjusting the chair’s height.
4. Check the Casters
Ensure all casters are securely inserted into the holes of the five-star base.
Loose casters can create noise when moving the chair.
5. Check the Backrest Adjustment Mechanism
If your chair has a tilt or recline adjustment feature, make sure the backrest lever or button is either fully locked or fully released.
If it remains in a partially locked position, noise may occur when leaning back.
After completing the above checks, if the issue persists, please contact our customer service team and provide the following information:
Clear photos or videos showing the part where the noise occurs
Your order number and product batch number (found on the packaging box or under the chair seat)
We will provide further troubleshooting or replacement solutions as soon as possible.
